    For all participants it isMANDATORYto have aMEDICAL CERTIFICATECompetitive for cycling or for high cardiovascular effort sports activities. The medical certificate must be valid at the time of the race and may be requested by the organisation during the pre-race verification.
    Registration can be done through the ARI platform (Events BIKE PACKING) or that of ENDU (Register Immediately | https://join.endu.net/entry?edition=102898) following the indicated procedure
    There is no closed number. It may be applied in the case of excessive registrations for organisational purposes.

    The route is designed to be taken with both Gravel bikes and Road bikes. The route is varied and develops on cycle paths, white roads, secondary asphalted roads, and trails.
    Over the years, participants in the Francigena Bike Adventure have taken part with any type of bicycle: cyclocross, MTB, fatbike, enduro; if you don't have a gravel bike, it's not a problem!

    The event will take place with start and finish in CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA, PROVINCE OF GROSSETO IN BIKEPACKING MODE.

    Participants can choose from 4 different participation modes:

    1-The Francigena and the Etruscan paths of Maremma - Grand Tour: includes a total of 450 km with +6,400 metres of positive elevation.

    2-The Francigena and the Etruscan paths of Maremma - Tour: covers 210 kilometres with +1500 metres of elevation.

    3-Maremma Experience long: includes 89 km with +1200 metres of positive elevation.

    4-Maremma Experience short: includes 63 km with +600 metres of positive elevation.

    For routes 1 and 2, two GPS tracks will be available: Road, Gravel.

    For route 3, two GPS tracks will be available: Road, Gravel.

    For route 4, only Gravel GPS track.

    YES, the choice must be made at the time of registration.

    The organisation will provide the tracks anyway, and you can freely follow whichever one you want.

    Each participant can manage their own travel time on the chosen route independently: they can stop, eat, and rest wherever they please. The routes are designed to allow enjoyment of the landscape and what it offers. For those equipped, they can organise themselves with a tent and sleeping bag.
    The Land Ports of the Francigena Bike Adventure are the most important places along the route where you can stamp your certificate and have a chat with other participants.
    The Road Book contains the main information about the Francigena Bike Adventure, and it will be given to you at the start. Inside, you will find the page to stamp, if you wish, at the various Land Ports, along with the road book and all the information in paper format that you may need throughout the route.

    At the finish, the structure of the Francigena Bike Adventure will welcome you in the best way, ready to meet every need. During opening hours, you will always find our staff, ready with a smile to hand you your diploma, offer you the chance for a refreshing shower, and let you taste the finisher menu for free. If you arrive at night, outside the hours indicated in the guide, you may not find places open to eat.

    The Francigena Bike Adventure is an event open to E-Bikes.
